Class/Self Evaluation

A. I enjoyed having to create my own website for this class. This assignment has been the most interesting because your ideas are being put together on your own website about anything you like. What I didn't like about this class is having to write a personal attribute or the 6 ways post because that isn't at all related to the topic of computers.
B. We could have spent much more time learning about creating websites and understand HTML and other things we didn't get a chance to learn about instead of working on a irrelevant topic.
I think I didn't do my best in this class. I could've have been more attentive throughout the semester.
I think I am committed to being  a CTR person because I feel guilty when i chose otherwise. I always try to do the best thing and try to stay away from people who don't always choose the right.

Six ways to make people like you

Six ways to make people like you. If you want people to like you...
Rule 1: Become genuinely interested in other people
1)"Do this and you will be welcome anywhere."
2)"You can make more friends in two month by becoming interested in other people than you can in two years by trying to get other people interested in you."
3)"Ask questions to other people, questions that they would enjoy answering."
Its always good to show interest. Its better when the person makes the effort to be interesting or if this topic is about something you like

Rule 2: Smile
1)"Actions speak louder than words, a smile says, "i like you. You make me happy. I am glad to see you."
2)"You don't feel like smiling? Then force yourself to smile.""
3)"It creates happiness in the home, fosters good will in a business, and is the countersign (witness or indication) of friends."

Rule 3: Remember names
1)"A man's name is to him the sweetest and most important sound in any language."
2)"If you don't remember names, you are headed for trouble."
Its always important to remember names because it reminds the person you know who they are. It also indicates that you are interested in possibly befriending them in the future
If you want to win friends, make it a point to remember them. If you remember my name, you pay me a subtle compliment; you indicate that I have made an impression on you. Remember my name and you add to my feeling of importance
How to remember names:
Ask for the name again if you don't hear it correctly the first time.
Use repetition
Study the person's face or other distinctive features.

 Meet and repeat.
Rule 4: Be a good listener. Encourage others to talk about themselves.

"if you aspire to be good
1.Stay focused
2.Really listen, don't think about similar experiences or whats next
3.Allow for periods of silence
4. From time to time paraphase peoples words
5. understand emotion the words
5. Talk in terms of the other man's interest

"The royal road to a man's heart is to talk to him about the things he treasures the most."
when you talk to someone about their personal interest and such they will appreciate it and be into the conversation. People will know eruh                                                                                                                                                                                                         6.Make the other person feel important--and do it sincerely.
"The desire to be important is the deepest urge in human nature." (John Dewey) "Helping people feel important and appreciated works magic."

Reflection:It takes a lot of steps for someone to like you. There's certain things you have to do to seem likeable and for them to gain confidence and trust you. You first of all need to be genuinely interested in becoming their friend. Then that's when you take the steps to make them feel comfortable around you and even make them feel important.

"The six attitudes of High Achievers"

"The six attitudes of High Achievers"
1.Make no small plans
When you want to do good in a certain field, you should always go all out.You should always aim high and try to reach for your goal. the higher you aim the more likely you are to reach for it. It's always good to dream big because the more you dream of bigger things the harder you work to achieve.

2.Do what they fear

You should be brave enough to take action and not be afraid to do things. If people are afraid to do something you should be the first to do it Doing so will make you a memorable person and people will look up to you. Showing courage is a good trait to have because it makes you do things you never thought you'd do and even things people wish to do but are too afraid to do so.
“I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.”
3.Are you willing to prepare
you should be dedicated to what your about to do and you need to prepare yourself before doing it.

4.Are willing to risk failure
people should be willing to do something that may cause failure because they can learn from it
I always did something I was a little not ready to do. I think that’s how you grow. When there’s that moment of ‘Wow, I’m not really sure I can do this,’ and you push through those moments, that’s when you have a breakthrough.Marissa Mayer
5.Are teachable
there are certain people who don't learn things as easy as others. You have to have your full attention focused on the thing you are trying to learn and you will become teachable.
“The unteachable man is sentenced to being taught only by experience. The tragedy is he reaches nothing further than his own pain.”
― Criss Jami,

\
6.Have heart
You need to have a good heart and be sentimental.

These attitudes are all meaningful in their own way. Doing each one will lead you to high achieving. All the 6 attitudes will eventually lead you to success in your life. Each one is a important characteristic to have when trying to achieve something.

Personal Development Attribute

commitment means the state or quality of being dedicated to a cause, activity, etc.
When you commit to something it means you're dedicated to it and there's no going back. Being committed means agreeing to do something and sticking to it. Its not a good look if you were to commit to something and you back down from it after. Willing to do something without having to or wanting to back down is what being committed is.

Personal Development Quote

"A man without a goal is like a ship without a rudder."
Thomas Carlyle
The attribute for this quote is assertiveness. Thomas is stating how important it is to have a goal set in mind to try to achieve it. When you set goals you are more determined to try and achieve that. It is very important for a ship to have a rudder, metaphorically speaking, just the way a man is to his goal. This relates to my life planning goal because from that, I can set one goal that i truly want to achieve
